Default 2003 GS430 stock 7 spoke 17" wheels

I just read in the latest issue of Road & Track that the 2003 GS430 will have new optional 7 spoke 17" wheels. Has anybody seen them yet? Does anybody have a pic they can post up?

Thanks Mickey. Damn they look pretty plain. I would imagine that in chrome they don't look too much more exciting.

You know what I just noticed on that page too. They are still using the picture of the rear wing from the 98-00 GS. Look at the tail lights in that picture.

Hey Sam...

check out page 7 of the ebrochure... it shows a full/wide shot of the GS with the new rims... I think they look pretty nice.

Yeah I guess they look pretty nice on the car. It probably also helps that it's a silver car with silver rims and a spoiler. I just wish they were a little bit more exciting. The styling of them seems a bit on the conservative side. I think it's time for a poll.

Thumbs down New 17"s

They are pretty plain... I saw them on a new is300 in chrome.... Looks pretty plain. If this car has such a big wheel well... why are they "mickey-mousing" around with 17's???? I thought they would for sure atleast bring out a set of 18's like the SC. They need to fire their wheel designer. Heck, I would have settled with an 18" version of the current gs17. I like the current GS 17, but it would be nice if it where available in an 18. I had to settle for the IS17's with spacers on mine and they look pretty good IMO of course. I know how most of you like those Bling-bling SUV sizes.

Default I agree I like wish they had 18's in the

five spoke version. The GS Sedan dwarfs the 17's. Even BMW and Mercedes puts 18's on their sedans.

I've been thinking about putting L-Sportline model IV 1 piece wheels in the 18" version on my GS because in general I like the 5 spoke design since the spokes line up evenly with the 5 bolt holes. The problem is that I live in Queens and drive in NYC and I blew out tires twice with my stock 17" wheels on my last GS. I can't imagine what will happen with 18" wheels with 245/40 tires on them.
