For the road noise, there are a couple of cheap and relatively easy things that I'd suggest you research:
1) Moonroof drain tubes which run through trunk and exit either right in front of or right behind the rear tires (I forget which) -- sometimes they can slip down and get too close to the road, and they channel noise back up into the cabin, especially when the moonroof shade is open. Easy fix, pull the tubes back up a bit and wrap some tape around them to keep them in place.
2) Body plugs missing -- the GS has I think 5 or so body plugs that are under the car and are supposed to be filled in with plastic plugs. I want to say this is more common with noise that seems to come from under the front of the car but I could be wrong.
I would also suggest that you have a qualified mechanic have a look at the front end of the car. The ball joints can fail and separate, which is pretty catastrophic when driving. Newer design has remedied this, but if you have original joints you want to keep an eye on them.
Anyway, welcome to Club Lexus!

The tires are sumitomo.....idk if they are any good but they are new?
And the shocks actually feel pretty good but I'll take a look at them when I get a chance..thx for the input.

tires can look new but all weather tires seem to be really loud so check the tread-wear on the tires they might be high so that makes alot of tire/road noise. . . . I had all weather tires on my 2gs3 and I got rid of them in a quickness cause they make to much noise and didnt feel like a lexus with loud tires
