New thread ic,

Your old GS was set up pretty clean.

The current GS, Id start with the :

-grille replacement, something not too flashy

-lower it, everything looks much better lowered

-not sure if that's a chrome windshield wiper blade, but that should be removed.

nobody asked him what style he's going for? Maybe he likes the DUB style... You can always go with an OEM grille. The 01 and up grille painted black or chrome if that's your style. Just need to know what you're going for. DUB style will not need to be lowered.

I'll never understand why people still dont understand the difference between dub style and donk style. Dub styled cars ARE lowered...

Ahh ok I see now. I didnt see this thread. All the other threads confused me. I prefer the styling of your old GS. Its more typical of what most of the guys here prefer since it was simpler and not "flashy" like your new one.

I would def change out that grill like everyones saying. Next, would to be get rid of the two tone paintjob. If you like it, keep it. Just giving you my .02 on what you should change up.

1.) lose the grille. I think a RMM grille would look good.
2.) Slam it. If you arent going to change the rims then i would say put it on air. If you are willing to change rims maybe get some 20's and coilovers. All about personal preference.

I suggest not trying to please those on here who dont like 'flashy'. You obviously bought the car cause you liked it right? Car enthusiasm is a about new ideas not having the same ol thing that everyone has. Yes I keep saying it cause its tiring seeing a website entitled "Club Lexus" where the members say "be like us" or leave. In a matter of speaking) ok i'm done biching

Donk falls under a certain year of car and not a style...I knew the guys that ran Dub magazine before they even had a name....LOL We used to kick it at SEMA parties all the time.

So would you say a brand new car raised on 30's is a dub and not a donk?

or rather, you telling me that this is dub style and not donk?

I do know what you're saying and yes the original donk are only the old classics on big rims... but I think it has changed, just like the new VIP that has come out compared to the old.

20's and slam it. And that grill looks kinda ugly. Just my 2 cents.

Pick up dub magazine... They will have that style car. Donks are old 70s impalas, boxes are mid 80's caprices and bubbles are 90's impalas and caprices... How can that change? Dub style is putting larger wheels 22's and up on your car... How is this car different? I think you're confusing yourself. It's like calling any car with fitment VIP...it's not, it's called stance

Exactly what i was thinking...it all depends on what route you want to go with the car. I'm not a big fan of the two tone so i'd change that but that's my opinion.

the OP is asking everyone on Club Lexus for our opinions and suggestions. He just bought this car, and he would like to know ware to get started. haha

I'm also wondering, what style he's going for? because the old GS and his current one are totally different. imo.
