Default Damn, another CEL = PO325

I researched this topic on both the CL forums and the internet; I guess it's a bad knock sensor (bank 1). Can anyone provide me with other information? I would like to know if anyone has had an experience with this CEL and the approximate cost and/or what could happen to the engine if left broken. The car is noticably sluggish and for the time being I am driving it like a grandma; keeping her under 4000 rpms. I am really upset and I seriously hope this isn't going to cost me $1000+.

Came on out of the blue the other day while driving. Coming from a traffic light the car felt weird and sluggish. I looked over at the dash and saw a CEL. I got it scanned at a local auto parts shop and low and behold it was the PO325.

Any comments on this? Thanks in advance.

Looks like the actual sensor is around $100.00 for an aftermarket part:

I haven't checked around, or gone to sewell yet. It seems as if you'll have to remove the manifolds to get to it. That obv. means replacing those gaskets ($100 or so). If you havent doen the starter yet' might want to just do it once youre in there; throttle body, etc. etc. (this is just my own opinion).

It could just be that the sensor is going bad or that something is clogging it up.

I haven't had to deal with this issue. So I won't start spouting info that I haven't dealt with first hand.

If you plan to fix the sensor -- and you're needing funds..I'll buy your L-Sportline Kit. jk. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks man for your help and taking the time to posting up information. Sorry, but I'm not selling the kit. I am probably going to drop the car off at the shop today; while he is in there I amy ask him to replace the exhaust manifold (header) gaskets and change the fuel filter as well (one of my "to-do" items).
