@ krispl. No problem buddy. Just having fun, wasn't upset at all with my response. I guess my easy access is different from your easy access. Thanks for posting the pic, but I already knew how it looked...remember I have a 300. Now post a pic of the 400/30 motor and you will see where my "easy access" statement came from. Even with the pic posted, you can still remove without taking the belt off... Anyway we do both agree that rock auto has great prices and customers service! BTW, never said I was a expert...im still learning this car everyday. I came from the Infiniti family

Ok, now to focus on something important...these NFL playoffs watching parties !! Go 49ers!!

I want to add something here in response to Mr. Goku's rambling about the WP. I recently done an 90k tuneup, albeit I had over 103,000 so it was tad overdue. On my GS3, only thing they replaced was the timingbelt, plugs, wires, fluid changes but the dealership DID NOT TOUCH THE WATER PUMP! Prior to dropping off the GS3, I advised the dealership that I was on a tight budget and informed him I would do WP change only upon inspection as to whether it was in NEED of being replaced with a new WP. The dealership stated WP looks good and there were no reason to do a waterpump change, so, I'm thinking Mr. Goku is onto something here. If it ait't broken, leave the damn thing alone!

Thanks! Basically this is all I was trying to convey. If its isn't leaking, leave it alone...on the GS400, then its a different story. WP is fully enclosed behind TB. Mine isn't leaking and I have no plans to change it until it does. It can easily be replaced if it does leak in the future.
