That would be ideal... much more "factory" look... would a wood non eshift GS wheel, RX airbag and IS paddleshift work? That would be ****!

I would think so as long as you had the wires already there from the old steering wheel with e-shift and figured out the wiring...

Lemme know how it goes... I'm not very brave messing around with my daily driver and doing something I haven't seen someone else do... I'm sorta chicken that way.

I agree I don't want to mess with my daily driver either so I will wait till OP does it and see how it comes out and works for him or someone else of course.

So good luck to everybody doing it. Because I think its a cool new upgrade can't wait for the finished product.

Hey TMF, any progress yet?
I followed your (or someones) link to the Japanese guy that did this project, but even the Japanese to English translation needs translating... so I didn't get a whole lot out of it.

Myself and Tony are working on this. Its coming along, albeit slowly as I'm doing this between everything else.

As of right now, it all should work out; pending one small detail. I should have this detail worked out soon.

After that, testing and fitment should be done. Following other things.

Tony, i literally just happened to stumble upon this in this hyper rev mag im looking at, looks like nights pager makes a kit as you knew from vince's post earlier BUT works bell makes a hub adaptor that utilizes the night pager quick shifter FOR OUR CAR (yes its been discontinued) but maybe they have something else that will work for our car or maybe possible to find still someplace

http://www.worksbell.co.jp/en/produc...ger/paddle.htm

Aristo 160 Series H9/8 ~ SRS/Limited to handle shift fitted cars + ~30mm 528PS

again another night pager one just not for our car....

The e-shift is practical for going straight, but start throwing in corners and trying to shift becomes difficult. I use my e-shift daily, the majority of time just for engine breaking... I would love paddle shifters, but not at the expense of getting rid of my OEM steering wheel.

you can still retro fit these to your oem wheel as well as keeping your e-shift buttons

Can you add pics of how/where you mount them when you get a chance?
