How fast have you driven in your GS?

125-130mph when I was racing a Turbo Eclipse on the 605N but I couldn't go any faster do to my 20" rims. That eclipse finally pulled on me and started passing me. I was ****-off !!! Less then a minute later, a CHP speed right by me and pulled over this integra that was fixed up and driving about 55mph. The CHP thought the integra was the one racing. That was a close call. I've driven 120mph+ plus more then 10 times at 2-5am when there is barely any cars.

But I have to say, I had more fun going maybe 45 or 50 this past weekend in the severe twisties. A GS with suspension mods is a ton-o-fun.

I went 110 mph and that was enough for me. No VSC, Air Bags or anything else will be safe at this speed.

I did 152mph+ in my GS 400 with a passenger. I was concentrating so hard, he was the one that looked over and said "WE'RE DOING 150!!"...It was on I-10 on the way to FAMU. I was with the stock 17" wheels. FLOATY!
Funny thing, I was racing a M5 that was doing 170+, I was no where near him....
I never hit the speed limiter so it must be off. Let me tell ya'll, the GS 400 will pull until you let off the gas.
Hell naw it ain't fun. I was sweating like a turkey in November. We were going so fast, I got off the gas to slow down and it seemed like FOREVER. I did not want to touch the brakes at that speed. I did around 120mph.
We went SO FAST, we got off AN EXIT, took the LONGEST **** of my life, paused, got back in the car, and the traffic the M5 and I left behind was just catching up.

120 mph.....didnt realize i was approaching a steep turn....almost lost control....what a stupid idiot i was.
Another time peer pressure doing 120 mph following a bunch of Lexs in a CT meet when someone from our group trying to race a BMW ahead lost control in a curve and just wrecked his car to pieces...truly sad. Just put life in perspective. I swore that day that I would never drive beyond 90 mph.

The car was floating too much, and there wasn't any road feel what so ever. Didn't seem like the tires were gripping the road, and I definitely wasn't secure with the car at that speed. IF the makes any sense. I won't do that again, but I had to see what she could do. By the way, I was racing a MB CLK430 at the time, 3am in the morning, no traffic, and almost a total straight away.

that makes perfect sense to me I did 145 very late one night and right as I hit that speed the car felt like it lifted up a little bit very unstable I don't think I could have made a lane chage at that speed if I had too so I let off ( i wanted to hit the speed limitor)I was told it shut's u down at 160 is that true?

On the way to FL for spring break last year and along the way down to Key West ...
Anyways, heading down on the Garden State Turnpike, I believe it was between exits 8 and 5. Mariusz, can correct me if I'm wrong, but we hit around 145. The needle went very well pass the 140 mark
Beautiful stretch of road...

I took it a tad bit past 140 on the 73... it's slightly downhill, so it gave me a boost. Biggest rush ever. I was sweating like a hog and was afraid I would kill the breaks if I hit them.

very powerful...
I did 140 and my eyes were about to pop out of my head and my heart started to race along with it. You can easily do 100 if you are not paying attention to the speedometer. This also was done betweeen 3 and 4 am i95 through Maryland. The rpm is slightly higher at rest with 94 gas in it.
