152 is the fastest in my old gs I have every gone. It was a little floaty not bad. Though I have had my 1993 vr4 189 mph according to the GPS the speedo tops out at 180. That was so scary never gone above 150 after that, and that was like 6 years ago. Deffently the biggest rush of my life!

doesn't the computer stop you after like 125-130 mph? i believe that's the fastest i've gone in the GS..

i actually hit 140 in a loaner ES on an empty straightaway

top speed for me is 95.6 at sacramento raceway.....
cops love my car... me doing anything over the speed limit is asking for it.....
i have gotten over 1500 dollars in tickets for dumb **** that cops make up just for me to get a tricket.... missing a emmission devise...?? after going to state emission and passing everything and showing the court pictures there was nothing missing from the car i still got a 400 ticket plus 50 for the test... thats one of them and the dumb **** continues and thats why i want to sell my car so i dont have to deal with dumb *** cops....... watch out in sacramento.....
About that guy going (alexis)140+ being in a car chase and just paying 250 is BS... i saw in court a guy get a 1000 ticket plus lic got suspended for 30 days for going 102 in a 65..... 140+ car chase= 225 fine..... that a nice dream and a good story.... reminds me of stand by me....LARDASS LARDASS Great Story lol

my fastest is 60, the speed limit on the freeway.. haha j/p. ive hit 100 once when it was stock.. now that its modded i drive low and slow.

I noticed a few top speed runs posted here on the 73 and 5 freeways in SoCal back in 2002 when the thread was started. That would take some serious brass ***** now. I was hit with Ka band 4 times today in the 90 mile trek from OC to SD over the 73 and 5. Escort 9500ix paid for itself today when it screamed and I was +30 over the PSL. CHP pulled up along my blind spot a short while after I had already slowed to the PSL. He "escorted" me for a minute or so I think just to see if I would not notice and speed up again. Can't imagine risking a high speed run on the 73 with all the CHP over there now.

Not sure if this was posted at this forum already but here is a copy of a ticket for 210+ MPH on the 73 freeway this month. Now that is hauling @$$. At that speed he probably should have kept going like he never knew he got clocked and exited at the next ramp. How the heck would the Crown Vic catch up?

140 stock...very floaty and needed 2 lanes..never again. I'm sure w L-tunes springs and shocks now it would be a lot better.

120 on the gs.. i couldn't go any faster due to the fact i don't have any suspension mods and the car felt unstable. i definitely felt comfortable going a lil over 140 in my previous car and changing lanes though, but then again it was on tein coilovers and was all done up

oh it was, i've done faster than that in a 08 cls550 no prob, but when i heard that loud rubbing and strong rubber odor all i could do is take my time to slow down hope that the tires dont blow, couldnt really slam on the brake! swear i lost about 2,000 miles on my tire thread that night...ha.... make it worst my dumb@ss thought i could just ripp off the hanging fender liner....! Big NO NO that ***** was HAWT!
