Default New Wheels!

I just bought some 19" Axis Wheels:
Number of Bolts: 5 Rim Width: 8
Hub Bore: 73 Rim Diameter: 19
Rim Brand: AXIS Offset: +45

1: Will I need to buy some hubcentric rings?
2: If I do, what size rings should I buy for the most flush look?

FYI, Im buying my coilovers soon, but dont plan on tucking, just as flush as possible without rubbing.

Thanks!

Newbie

If they're not OEM and not custom bored then you need to buy hub rings. Actually if you're dealing with a good wheel manufacturer they will include the hub rings. You'd need 73mm to 60.61 hub rings. Someone chime in with the exact specs.

Hubcentric rings are used to 'close' the space between the diameter of your wheel and the diameter of your hub and 'lessen' vibration.

If you want 'flushness' I would suggest you sell the wheels because a 19x8 inch wheel would need a huge spacer. Also flushness is all relative to what you are looking to do and what you are not looking to do to your car.

the +45 offset will be tough to make look flush, man. my GS is running 18x9 x10 +10 offset all around and i shaved my back fenders and rolled the fronts. No rub, just UCA's hit the insides of my fender, no big deal. check it out.

+45 offset is a front wheel drive offset. You need at least a 20mm spacer all around to make it look even remotely good, I'd say 25-30mm to be in the right range. Does depend on what you're planning to do for lowering, but that's WAY too high of an offset. I think the stock has an offset of 40mm?

Maybe its best to mount them, install the coilovers and make the adjustments after that....

I think Stock Rims actually have a 50mm Offset. But Yeah, I have seen people put 33mm spacers on the front (stock) wheels and 38mm on the back to make the wheels sit pretty much flush without any fender modifications.

Seeing how the wheels you are looking at have a 45mm offset I would say 28mm in the front and 33 in the back would make it pretty flush.

I think the guy with the 33 and 38mm spacers on stock wheels was named whazzzup, you should search for the thread its called something like "Spacers for Stock Wheels".

I have stock wheels and I am planning on getting 20mm front spacers and 25mm rear spacers on my car, I don't need to have it completely flush, but I'm tired of the sunk in look.
