Aw you all good homie! we will be combining the ge and gte harness to get all functions of the swap and transmission. Very little needs to be done to the gte transmission side of the harness. just a few wires and bada bing bada boom

Well since you have it down I was just trying to make sure you dont end up spending more money than you have to, but since you have it already blueprinted cool.

did u get the motor from the guy selling them here on CL? thats the exact price he was selling them for without the tranny. I was thinking the same idea but wasnt sure if we would still be able to run our tranny. hmm i might just look into this. how soon are you planning on swapping it in?

I got mine from dallas jdm motors. Its a complete motor with nothing missing. Very good service and pricing. The motor will go in possibly next month or august. I'm planning to pull the stock units off and running comp ct5458 turbos (twins) but that's if everything goes as planned.

No need to question my man. He got this all under control, and shoot with Jeff Tsai helping out, how can you go wrong?

Alot of hating and incorrect information in this thread. The Stock GS auto tranny will bolt up to the GTE motor with no problems. Getting everything to work in harmony is what is going to need attention. Looks like the OP got everything under control though so more power to you and best of luck!

Keeping tabs on this. I've been looking to pick up a GTTE motor, but if this pans out I'm going to be a happy camper.
