Hand wash or touchless only. I went through those with guides twice... result, in damage ltuned sides and chipped paints. First experience, I was ignorant. 2nd experience, I asked the salesman if it's touchless (a-hole said yes and I was too lazy to check)... it wasn't but a few cars were already behind me

Never ever, at the shop we have seen sooooo many paint imperfections due to cars going through the auto. car wash.
Basically end up paying for a 3 stage buff in order to get the paint back to perfection.

off topic...but what size tire are you running on your factory 17" rims? What is the recommended or factory size? The reason why I'm asking is because someone I know is trying to sell their factory 17" rims for $250 obo. So I'm thinking about purchasing them and sending them to a shop for chrome plating. I have the 02 GS3 factory chrome rims but I love the look of the 17". The only thing from going to 16 to 17" is that tire thread life would suffer a bit.
