No because I like to use my own gear, and I don't like nor trust other people washing my cars. The only real time I'll go through one is a DIY place to use the gurney.

you will get swirl marks, rims might get scratched among many others. Best to do it yourself. Where are you located in CA? If you HAVE to take it somewhere I can recommend you a couple of places.

No, hand wash mine. Do not want swirl or scratches plus they use dirty well water.

If you are going to do it, at least use a touch-less one. Also, if you have wheels on your car, don't use the one that has the guides, as they will scratch your wheels.

My car gets scratches by just sitting in the parking lot at work. So I never take it to those car washes unless its a diy type place or completely touchless.

^^^^ xactlY!
DONT EVA GO TO ONE THAT AINT TOUCHLESS.

the cloths retain dirt particles that will scratch up your paint.

Dont even use a car wash bay cause the brushes will do the same thing. Unless of course you just do a high power wash only.

For a quick rinse i use touchless...but doing it yourself is the best method. Just be aware of the type of material you use and keep the material clean...otherwise it will do the same as the TOUCH carwashes.

lol funny you should say that, my cf hood had a small bubble in it on my SC300 and the power sprayer at the car wash started blowing all the clear coat off my hood, so i ended up using the sprayer to take the clear coat off my CF trunk and spoiler as well, then got it all painted to match the car lol..

not really cheap CF it was all C-wings stuff, the sprayers at those places are powerful as hell though..

Hand wash only!

Don't use dish soap though, use actual car wash soap.
