Just playing devils advocate here, but curious...why LS1? The GTE swap is straightforward and has the same power potential as any LSX series engine if not more. Both variants are power houses so why not just stick to what actually belongs under the hood? I know, this is subjective for many, Im assuming you are wanting it for the shamwow factor?

EDIT: Auto Tech Collision is the ****. They fixed my mothers Coralla after a slight fender bender and it came out looking fresh.

well for one Cost differ. im not looking for 500+ hP but i mean to get that out of a 2jzgte im sure it will cost close to 10k including motor, install, misc parts, exhaust, electronics etc etc. now when you compare that to a LSx i dont think it would cost nearly as much to achieve 500 out of it. Just the smallest mods to an LSX will give you such a high gain for what it is. And also I really want the torque from a v8.

i driven a 2jz swapped GS and believe me it was fun but i want something that will catch people by surprise. a GS sounding like a muscle..wait WTF was that LoL

hoods open and from that angle of the picture, looks like that's why you're seeing that.

Looking good! Ultrasonic Blue has a purple hue in person, at least it does to me. Very unique... Can't wait to see better pictures of her all back together!
