Try PIAAs if you want, but Philips Vision Plus or even Sylvania Silverstars will be (marginally) brighter than them for less money, ceteris paribus. Unless PIAA came out with a Super Duper Ultra Iridium White Turbo Plus series bulb recently . Basically they are all so close in brightness now, it becomes ridiculous to compare so compare prices instead. HID high beams would be insane, but most people don't use them often enough to justify the cost.

Have you considered a stealth mount of a set of deer whistles on your car? As cheezy as it sounds, they work OK. Can get them at almost any auto parts store or online. There are smaller, black ones you could put down in your spoiler area.

actually cars that have HID in there low and high beam use a different techinique. instead of using 2 different set of HIDs one for low one for high. they only use 1 set of HID in the low beams. and when you hit the high beam a metal piece will slide out of the way and allow the light to shine higher. mercedes uses this technology right now.
