R.i.p tte lip
Due to the heavy rains and flooded roads Im sad to announce my TTE lip was ripped off and is laying somewhere.......on some dark road wounded with no home Ill take a drive in the morning to see if it can be found but Im sure its a lost cause.
Ideas for a replacement lip since TTE are discontinued?

forget getting a "real" one just get a replica, i have had both the only difference is the tte badge. they both are very durrable. i am sick and tierd of hearing about the bad reputation for the replicas. they do the job for a fraction of the price

I personally like the TTE Lip look. I don't like giving money to a company that clearly knocked off a design, BUT in this case they used urethane instead of the original fiberglass which actually improves the design.

Why would anyone have a problem with a replica lip in teh case where the REAL one can no longer be purchased?
I understand people supporting authentic parts, but when those authentic parts are no longer in production or bringing the company revenue... the real company (TTE) experiences no negative impact.
If the replica fits good, then why not?

ALD lip on my IS300 in heavy rains in FL. I got home and was like. "Where the hell is the other half of my lip!!" sucks but hopefully your back up and running with a new lip soon.
