Default Cam pulley help needed

Is there a way to remove the camshaft pulleys off w/o taking off the valve cover? I need to replace my cam seals & also repair VVTI oil leak..

you need to remove it. you need to make sure the cams are held firmly in place when you remove the pulley.

Its always something! now that we're totally done, changed the camshaft seals etc...now the car wont start. My VVTI pulley had a leak & took it apart but in the process of putting back i lost its mark. Is there any timing mark inside the VVTI pulley?
