Default 98 GS400 Help

Hi CL members, I'm new to the forums and I just recently bought a 98 GS400 (which I love)...

Anyways, when I 1st bought the car the locks would lock by themselves after I would take the key out of the ignition after a minute or so now it doesnt. Any reason why...

Also on my keyless entry the unlock button and trunk button work but the lock button doesn't, any suggestions...

Also I want to install a DD, will I need to by some type of wiring harness to bypass the OEM amp. It has the Nakamichi setup...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks...

There's a write up on how to replace the door lock actuators, if you need to.

First step is to replace the key battery.

If you want to bypass the factory amp there is also a write up for that.

I tried searching on a DIY for my stereo question and I can't find what I'm looking for can I get a link.

Is actually the actuator that is out, because I can lock and unlock my doors all at one time when I use the keyhole, and it lock and unlocks from the inside
