Default Ballast DIY

Hello, i've searched and i can't find info on swapping out a bad ballast for another OEM ballast. I got the newer ballast on ebay. I know for sure it's a bad ballast and not a bulb because i swapped bulbs and the dealership diagnosed it to be a ballast. They wanted $1800 (driver side)

Is there a easy way to do this myself? How hard is the process?

Thanks for the help

You have to take off the front bumper to remove the headlights. The ballast is attached at the bottom of the headlight housing.
