DIY ball joint help
i was reading on some other treads about springs and struts and saw where they said there was a special way to put the ball joints BACK on when thry get replaced. i did mine about 4 months ago, but just put new ones on like they came off?????
DID I MESS SOMETHING UP< IS IT SAFE??? thanks

huh?
based off what youre saying you are working on the UCA balljoint?
installing the balljoint to the steering spindle/knuckle needs to be done under load. so that that compress it slightly before tightening the nut.
you have to explain better for us to understand.

nothing special really. Just push the UCA downwards when tightening the nut.
