After Market "OEM" 01-05 Lexus GS300 Headlight
I've tried to polish my headlights with over the counter products. I haven't had any luck they're still dull/cloudy. I called the dealer and got a price check on Toyota/Lexus OEM lamp. The parts stealman told me 465.00ea non HID. I Googled after market headlights and found out DEPO made some http://www.depo.com.tw/asp/pdf/R_LX_G-S300_400_430.pdf
(2001 GS-300-400 Part#312-1180-ASD3 / HEAD LAMP-R 81110-3A600, L 81150-3A720). Not sure if they are green tinted or not but for 183.00ea I could care less. My concern is the quality of manufacturing. I plan on doing a reto mod to them but still want a quality product.
Has anyone bought them? If so howdo you like them?

I just polised my last night, I used the turtle waw headlight polish kit. However I did not use the full kit, I did not sand the headlights or anything, i applied the white compound and then use a high speed polisher, the key to getting it looking clear again is the speed of the polisher, very hard to do it by hand. If you dont have access to a variable speed polisher then try an orbital, and if not then do it by hand again. A friend of mine did it by hand and had to do about 20 application per lights to get it clear.

If you want to give it a try I used (I think mothers or maguiares) headlight kit came in a red box. All you need is a drill and the applicator slides in like a bit, apply the polish and go to town. It's faster than by hand.

To avoid them getting cloudy again in a few months, there's a polish you can buy for headlights that has UVA/UVB protection. It even comes in different colors like clear, blue, green, yellow, red, etc... to give you a very slight tint to the headlight. Thus you can do your old worn headlights and put the green polish on em to give em a new OEM look
I'm sure this would all be very useful info if I'd provide the link, or even the brand name but alas...
