I think people will need your offset to answer your question better. I run a 275 30 20 with the lip cut 50%. Im pretty sure you can fit a 305 if your offset is not very aggressive. Ive been debating selling my rims and getting rid of the "flush" look and trying to shove some meat under the rear. I think a 315 is possible if your offset is not aggressive and you roll or cut the fenders.

I have a 215/35-19 Nitto Neogen in the front of my gs. a 19x9 rim. Good stretch. Doesnt rub with stock front fender with an offset after the adapter of -6

Hey, another Vancouverite. If your rim is only 19x9 +55 (sounds like S2000 fitment) don't go any wider than 275/30R19. This is the widest anyone should go on a 9" wide rim. Very few places would even try to attempt to put a 305 on a 9" also the side walls would crown SO bad that you would actually LOSE traction and control. If you really have the need to run a 305 you need at least 10.5" wide
Each tire size has a range of what rims will fit. Please have a look and educate yourself

Thanks for the help, Yakuza_GS (btw your GS looks sick man!)
I'm actually going to put on the IS-F wheels;
19x8 in front
19x9 in rear
So 275/30r19 should be good with no mods?
I was hoping a little wider![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
The stock rear tire size is too narrow IMO!
(so are the rear wheel width! :P )

275 on a 9.5" rim is an optimal match. So with a 9" rear that should still be ok. if you really want wider tires get new rims.
