Default Dye GS's Leather To Saddle or BMW Cinnamon? :)

Ok so I've though of this for a while I've wanted Saddle in my car since ive first ever came across it. Its nice and very very rare blah blah you get the gist of it. So why not just recolor or redye your leather to that specific color....? Well my friends i found a site that offers re-coloring kits and also offer a wide variety of colors from BMW's gorgeous cinnamon leather to Ferrari's hot red leather, but my question is will this work? Im honestly so tempted into doing this I have a Sportdesign Gs with black leather and would kill for cinnamon or saddle. What are your guy's thoughts about this?

Heres the site:

How can you die a black leather seat to a lighter tone such as the colors you mentioned? I don't see that happening.

You do coat after coat letting each drying in between to achieve the color you want. Someone on this site dyed there leather to red so im pretty sure this is possible.

Are you sure it would work for black leather? If it does I would do blood red, if not then sattle since your exterior is black

I dont see changing black to something lighter working. I got tan leather and would consider this product if someone has used it and can give input with pics

It can work but it would take LOTS of prep work. You pretty much take all the color and oil from the leather and then paint. Important part is the prep or else your paint will start to crack.

So...
Why not do this to the tan leather interiors instead? Sounds a lot easier to me.

My interest is peaked. I have been searching for a GS in my area with black leather because I do not like the Tan but haven't had much luck. If this works, I could just dye my interior.

Sell/trade your black leather to someone who really wants it, and get tan.

Holy ****.

If someone wants to trade me their tan seats (must be in good condition) for my black seats, with full power and heat etc. I'd be down.

My 335 has white on dakota (which is what bmw calls their brown leather).

I'd love to do black on dakota -- no pun intended.
