Question Where I can order these HID bulbs....

Okay, after endless researching, these are the light bulbs I want to order: http://www.philips.co.jp/lighting/pr...n_ultinon.html

Anyone know where in the US I can order them?

TX

Also. How hard or simple is it to modify that little notch on the D2R to make the D2S fit?

Call Jen Liu from http://www.suvlights.com

You can get his phone number on the site. Very knowledgeable fellow...He can and will answer any question you have. He sells the 6000K Ultinons and knows a ton about HID lighting.

Here's some places, not sure if they have exactly what you're looking for. I think the first one has the bulbs for sale.

250 shipped is the best i have heard so far. to fit d2s in the d2r housing, you need to use a dremel to make a little **** on the d2s bulbs

Hi Guys, My 2002 GS300 came with HID. Does Lexus HID comes with 4100K or 6100K bulb? Is it a D2S or D2R housing? If it come with a 4100K bulb. Is it possible just to change the bulb to Phillip Ultinon 6000K and will it fit the GS housing? I like the blue look that's why I want to change my bulbs. Any info is appriciated.

I've seen these at I think the suvlights.com site, and are available in the proper D2R configuration.

Even if you could modify the D2S bulbs to fit in your casing, they would not project properly. You must use D2R's unless you want to mod out your lights to be projector style.

The user Lex400sc had an excellent article posted recently that explains this in detail.

all cars with hid come with 4100k, that's the legal limit. gs uses the d2r type bulbs. you can do direct swap for 6000k, the ballast will hold no problem

Thanks! No, my car has not been repainted. I take extremely good care of it: Clayed once a year and waxed every month! I get the same reaction every time I tell people in person that the car is a 98'........

Here's a good and up close pic of my interior.

My Z comes stock with 4100k albeit, not as clue-white as I would prefer. My GS lights have more color, but, I am considering a swap for both cars.
