Hey guys. Got a problem. You know how usually u lock the car and set alarm with the lock button, and unlock it with the unlock button. Well all the sudden the other day, i go to un-lock and the lights don't blink like they used to. and now the little "beep" noise isn
t made when i lock it. Only the doors lock, and the lights never blink wether its turnin the alarm off or on. What do i do?? Is it the key?? the car?? Someone please help me, cause i don't wanna get screwed at the dealer

If you've already unlocked the car earlier and you tried unlocking it again (within 30 seconds or so) it will just beep. Try this, try unlock, then lock, then unlock it. After this see if the lights blink. If not, then I have no clue bro

Thanks, but no beep, still when turnin alarm on. only off. and the blink never comes on, either time.

This is just a setting on the alarm. The 98' LS's have a buttun near the trunk and gas releases that will control the beeping. I just took a look at my GS and don't see the button, but I am sure there is something similar to the LS's button somewhere.
