completely screwed on eBay!!!
I recently bought used Tein SS coilovers from someone on eBay. They showed up at my house, missing the wrenches, damper ****, spring perch o-rings were destroyed, bumpers missing..basically about 160 bucks worth of **** to replace from Tein. Not to mention, the guy at Tein said some of the stuff may need to be ordered from Japan which would take weeks!! Emailed the kid, no response for 4 days, then didnt even acknowledge the issue. Now Ive filed a claim with ebay to get my money back. This should take another 3 weeks!!!
Be very cautious my friends!!!
in the meantime...anyone selling any legit coilovers for a 98 GS??!?!

I never purchase used suspension on eBay, or anywhere for that matter. Did you had this discussion prior to purchase what was all included? Did the seller list what was going to be included? Buyer should always beware, just saying.

If it was a full set I would have saved a lot actually, there was no mention in the ad that anything was missing, it was advertised as a "full set". It was classified as Used, which in ebay terms means, signs of cosmetic wear but fully functional. So annoying! What ever came of your situation Fiend?

Got a link to the auction? I'd like to see the description.
How much did you save? No real need for the wrenches they are nice to have but not necessary. But yeah the other stuff you'll need.
Sorry to see this happen, hopefully their not blown as well.

Ebay is going to screw you, just as paypal will. You'll end up paying whatever the shipping cost to get it back to him (and assuming you dont have a shippers account) you'll be out about $100-120 plus your time and effort. They don't refund shipping costs and don't provide shipping.
I had this happen with a sensor I purchased; the seller had a ton of positive feedback and I purchased a new sensor that came to be out of the box and used/damaged. I filed a claim, did everything that was asked, provided info and I got shafted because I would have lost the shipping fees which made the transaction negligent to me. I kept the sensor and just ate the cost.
Did you pay $160 for this (assuming you said "about $160 worth of ****" up in your post) ?

I got the coilovers for less then half of the price new, id rather not post the actual ad, for obvious reasons, but i saved our emails, I dont think he stands a chance of winning this claim. If I had to ship them back to him its at my cost I understand. But Im curious...he set a shipping price of $150...do I get all the money I spent back? and then it just costs me to ship it back to him, cause I know damn well it doesnt cost $150 to ship this stuff!!
