Default Installed Tanabe DF210s this weekend

So me and my buddy lowered my car this weekend and we had one hell of a time, but we got it in the end. 1st off I couldn't find anyone that could mount my tires to my new 19s, 2nd after doing the front springs we broke one of the lock lugnuts and the key so we had to find a shop to remove them for us after our attempts failed. Now my rims are at the shop in my hometown and they are waiting for a part for their tire mounting machine so the wait continues. haha. Oh and one of the shops that tried to mount my tires in KC scratched up the edge of my rim. Guess it just wasn't my weekend. haha.

X2. Why in the hell are you telling someone to do something that is NOT safe and GHETTO?

I highly recommend you think before you post again.

Im all good just how it is man. This is my daily driver that I haul my 2 kids around in and I know these cars look so bada$$ way low but this is good for me. I am just waiting for my rims and then I plan on tinting windows and thats about it for now. I added my Brembo drilled rotors on the rear and the front already had drilled and slotted installed. I can see how modding can become addictive but I will just do a little to make it my personal ride and then I need to keep up on the regular services.

Thinking........Thinking......... Geeze guys put away the pitchfork and torches i'm just fooling around. I would never seriously recommend that someone do something so grossly dangerous and ghetto as cutting springs, especially on a Lexus.

MatterGS, Car looks good. Glad to hear you worked out all the snags with the install. Its not always easy to do-it-yourself but it pays off in the end. Sounds like you will have some wheels ready to put on in the next few days too. Post some pics when you get the wheels on. And just to be on the safe side do like 1 1/2 coils I swear it will change your life man. DO IT!! The clouds will part and GOD's glorious hand will descend from heaven gently pressing your lovely lady lexus a little closer to the ground and your entire state will have a 65% chance of wetter panties in the forecast, the handicapped will leap from their wheelchairs and shout "I CAN WALK!!" The blind will see, wars, hunger, poverty will all end.....

Just think about it.

Yea let make the car ride like crap and transport it back to 1990 when people were doingit because they could not afford springor full coilover.

O.P. please don't listen to this guy, your car will look great with wheels and the ride is good right now with those springs.

Your Lex looks good, Put your rims on and the decide what to do. Get springs with a lower drop or get coil overs or leave it as is.
