Smile need help trying to fit wheels...

so my buddy had a 2001 528i sport package that he just got rid off, so now he is left with a set of wheels that i would like to take off his hands.. for some reason i thought they would fit on our cars but i was wrong ...how can i make this work? i know i deff need adapters, but idk anything when it comes to that field.. so wheel gurus i need your help

cool cool, how about the thickness of the adapter how do i judge that, im not trying to make adjustments to the fenders...also where can i get good adapters from?

If they came off of a 5-series, chances are the offsets will already be somewhat aggressive - the 5 takes a lower offset than the GS does stock-for-stock.

Add an adapter to that mix and they'll move out even further. Without knowing what you are working with (width, offset, tire size), none of us can say with certainty what you're up against.

My guess is that you're going to be into at least minor fender mods. I would NEVER run adapters on one of my cars... I'd recommend just getting some wheels that fit.
