Who on CL has a turbo'd GS300? We hear about all this potential, but I don't hear about the cars (except I think one guy who works for SRT I think).

i think Cong is getting a Stage 2 turbo in his gs3 very soon...

 

CL member v300 has a 550hp GS3 last I talked to him, could be more now.

 

Not a very frequent participant on CL, but isn't that 'Buckwild' guy's GS turbo'd?

 

Oh yeah, I believe he has around 540hp but need to pull up his E-mail to confirm, he also was proceeding with increasing his hp so it may be more now as well.

 

Dayam - I wish there was one of those bad boys in the Atlanta area. It would be a hoot to go for a spin in a GS300 with 500+HP.

What color is your car? Color appears to be blue Marlin(or Onyx) Pearl. Exterior/ Engine mods are definitely to my liking. The way you have it set up right now is quite impressive but once you go single skys the limit!!! You had better keep us updated on your progress.

 

It is about 500hp at the crank and actually around 435 at the wheel

 

435RWHP is very nice. Car looks good. Keep up the modding

 

The color is a dark metallic blue, what it came stock. Inside is the Black Leather package with the built in Naviagation option. Unforunately I have the CD navigation, the new one comes with DVD I have the Video jack added for the HKS Camp so that all the meters are digital on the monitor. Later I'll get a switch to hook up the DVD

 

I confirm 500 as the max on stock twins(JZS161/ JZA80 alike). Then it's on to the big(ger) single.

 

The small single kit will run about 4500 not including installation. After that I can get higher cams, just the VVT-i cam is super expensive. I don't plan on getting a large turbo because you have to sink another couple grand into upgrading the tranny.
