Default Can anyone explain why this happened?

Ive seen people lower than me and I really dont know why this happened. Pretty much I was trying to park backwards in my drive way and this happened. Just ordered a new fender but dont want this to happen again. I dont really want to raise my car up either. Any thoughts or solutions please let me know.

Are your fenders shaved? If so that could be part of the problem. I shaved my front driver fender, but it kept catching on and I had to go back and try to roll it in as much as I could so I wouldn't catch anymore, but it still came out looking ehh. Looks like maybe your wheel caught the fender and buckled it?

wow thats exactly what happened. Yes my fronts are shaved. Thats what i was thinking. After this happened I went slow and saw that it seemed to be catching. i just dont want this to happen to the passenger side also. Man this sucks. So with the new fender i get just roll it instead of shaving it and this shouldnt happen again?

Just wondering is it cheaper to just buy new fender instead of getting it fixed?

i already paid for a new painted fender. I would rather just buy a new one then repair this. Ive had my car painted before to where they just pulled out the dent and i wasnt happy with the results at all.

I would honestly just get them flattened and rolled instead of shaving. It makes it so nothing can possibly catch when you're turning. If I could go back and NOT shave my fender I would and just gotten it rolled. My passenger side looks so much better than my driver.

If you have ever seen how a fender looks after being shaved and catches on the tire etc.. It looks like trash. It'd prolly cost a lot more to try and get it back to OEM look than just finding a good condition one in a junk yard and getting it repainted, lol.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAINT...mZ380341105355

The seller has a prety good feedback on some infinitis and what not. I figured he should be pretty good. Worth giving it a shot as opposed to getting a fender then finding someone to paint it.
