Default Those of you that removed your factory spoiler?

I picked up a RMM spoiler from a fellow CL member & once I remove my factory spoiler it dawned on me that I'll be without a 3rd break light. Question for you all that have done this is what did you do to compensate? Put something in the rear window?

The dealer put your spoiler on. If the only third brake light is in the spoiler, then it's factory.

i think the 3rd brake light is prewired for ALL cars so you should just be able to undo your spoiler, fish out the OEM plug and install/plug in the deck lid brake light. search im 99% sure there is a few threads i recall reading about this

Specs/link to the brake light please? Sounds promising.

I removed my spoiler and have not replaced the high mount brake light with anything yet, but our cars come with four brake lights on the trunk . Ill eventually get one that goes inside on the rear deck.

Not having a 3rd brake light is dependent on the motor vehicle act and where you live. Where I live 2 function taillights is legal and does not require the "3rd" light.

that's incorrect.or at least in America its incorrect. All 1986 model and newer cars are to have third brake lights by law EVERYWHERE in the us thanks to Ronald Reagan....now British Columbia and all of Canada maybe different but in the us we HAVE to have a 3rd brake light

I always wanted a 3rd brake light up high in the roof spoilers like ls460s have..I just have to find a good body shop to fit it in my spoiler.
