what is causing vibration on driver side only, steering wheel is fine

What about LCA #1? Did you checked the bushing on those? That's the main supporter. Make sure your tire doesnt have a bubble and wears evenly. Last thing i would say the wheels itself. Could be bent or just bad wheel balance. Sometimes wheel weights falls off.
