Default Another dumb question...

I am trying to replace the front driver's side turn signal and my hands cannot seem to fit here. The passenger side is very easy access, but the airbox and the windshield washer fluid tank is right next to the driver's side headlight. Does anyone remove any parts to get the bulb?

Or is it closer than I think? I don't know exactly which plug to unscrew for the 1156 bulb...

Thanks!!!

you would need to pull out the splash guard. iirc, i think it uses a 921 bulb.

Are we talking about the same turn signal that is in the main headlight housing with the xenon? The book says 1156...am I referring to the wrong bulb? And when you say splash guard, do you mean in the wheel well?

It is a 1156 bulb. Its VERY tight space. do you have a wife/friend that can get his/her hand in there? My hand came out scuffed up last time i did this. Its definitely do-able, i wouldnt start taking apart the wheel well or bottom splash guard.

I had to surrender some time, skin, and a little blood to get this done on my car. Its doable, just not fun. I have large hands as well which does not help.
