Not directing this at you but sometimes mods make cars slower.
No worries...
Honestly I don't remember. I do remember it being a CAI. But I couldn't tell you what brand. I also don't wanna give off the wrong impression here. The GS300 is a very nice luxury car. I really wish Toyota would've put more emphasis on the competition in terms of power. Even though it didn't hurt their sales by any means, it would've been nice to get more power out of it. Guess that's why they made the 400/430 options.

I'm happy with my 400

If your wife's 300HP is fast, then maybe you should drive the S4 and understand fast. Correct? Not the point of this thread.
It's Infiniti...Infinity are car speakers I see where you are coming from, but when you make a thread like this, you EXPECT for the car to be compared to other cars. I'm happy with my GS3 and it power it has. It's good enough for me...I will trade off the HP anyway vs what I was spending for gas in my V8.!!!

Alot of the muscle cars in the mid 60s & 70s where underrated in horsepower for insurance purposes. I thought maybe the GS was the same.

The GS3 has the benifit of the 3.9x gearing that helps win the passing power/punch, a stock or mildly modified one with intake and exhaust will Dyno troll 175-190whp depending on the Dyno.
All this talk about 400/430 blah.... I purposely bougt a GS3 because of the 2JZ, even if it is a GE, it can and will hold 450whp all day win a small single, I love boost and I am sure the additon of turbo boost will more than make up for the Uzf motor, even one that is supercharged.

HUh?? The old Mighty 2JZ will decimate all after import parts from Japan speech.. What are you 16yr?

People get the GS3 with hope and dreams no either do a swap or NA-T, Join the bandwagon. Most Dont even reach as far as intake , cause they will concentrate in RIMS, FUSAs, LED TAILS, ETC..

Im sure your gonna now say your one of the exceptions and go that route, i will tell you, better not leave it BPU cause the GS4xx, Audi's, and or any new car will be no slouch and will make you very sad. Also remember the GS will be limited by the Tranny, so you either upgrade or keep it @ 400hp

And just incase you didnt know, its not always about HP, but HP to weight ratio. The amount of power i need for my Civic to Decimate all is not much compared to a heavier car.

And yes, The GS3 is SLOWwwwww..... But comfty

THe GS300 is nothing but a cruiser (stock motor) u cant expect a lot from it, i cant keep up with some of the rav4's these days the motor is great but it is slow, however its gearing is on point and works great at the higher speeds if you want to pass. As someone stated that going up against a maxima he was able to pass his friend, that is untrue, because gs300 will get eaten for breakfast lunch and dinner by the maxima! ( ur friend wasnt trying hard enough)

I think you are the only one hung up on it and acting like a 16 year old from what you posted, great job on trying to prove your point lol. You can say what your will but the 2jz has proven it self, even the GE. There is a resin why it is gettig as common as a LSX swap, easily attainable high hp..
I will not respon future to your post regarding this topic because you obviously can not make a valid post without any personal reference or attacks.
