please dont assume to know the codes before the OP even posts them, your not physic brother, just give him time to pull them

Okay, so I got them checked out. Its an oxygen sensor. P0037.. The Lexus dealership wanted $400 to replace it. Needless to say I passed, so now if anyone has any idea on how to replace this. I am all ears!

thats the ONLY code u got?

well, that would explain the CEL code but not the VSC/VSC OFF light...

i ask again, before the lights came on did you get into a wreck or have any suspension work done where you might have ripped the speed sensor? any issues with the master cylinder or has it been replaced?

^^^ The VSC/VSC OFF lights come on when the CEL comes on. Don't know why Lexus designed it that way. Maybe for attention?

The ABS/VSC system stores codes separately from the normal OBDII (engine) codes. If the store/shop you had scan the vehicle for you only scanned the engine/OBDII system all they will get are engine codes. The ABS/VSC needs to be checked with a capable scan tool, usually a high end scan tool or factory tool.

You may still have ABS/VSC codes you are not aware of.

There is a way to check the ABS codes without using a special tool. But that requires using the search button.

Default check engine vsc vsc off
