I never really worried about the 5.7 quarts because thinking about it, i dont drain every single drop of oil out of every bottle therefore while something is left in each bottle im sure it makes up to being less than 6 exact quarts of oil, therefore im not sure why it is such a big deal.

hey. i was really being nice. but since you say i am talking crap...

here it goes:

i first bring in my car... he pulls it into the station with the side lift

he kicks the arm into the place and it hits my side skirt because he did not realize my car was lowered. he did not even apologize for this but only had a chuckle.

washed my car yesterday and noticed the paint was chipped on the side skirt.

i don't believe this grease monkey is serious about fixing other people's car.

and yes, i am a bit upset. you expect a professional to be working on your car since you paid $ for it.

But if this type of halfass work was done, would you not be upset?

as stated before dont worry about it..... i dump an even 6qt in mine every oil change and the stick is always right on the full mark

as far as that mechanic goes.... he's a tool... a compentent mechanic should always pay attention to the lift arms when flinging them around

sakataj, please exit this thread. I'll ask again to knock off the inflammatory comments like this going forward. You can easily make your point (and disagree) without it.
