Yeah, it's the same color. This wrap is called ME-379 brushed aluminum. It's the same color but has a brushed aluminum feel. It looks subtle but classy IMO.

Doesn't look stock to me. It's very subtle, and I really like how that turned out Yvie.
SoCal, didn't know you wanted to do a vinyl wrap when you first posted. CarbonGS did real carbon fiber, that's why he could clear coat it.

I bought a small sheet of the 3m dinoc but haven't done anything with it..

I ordered it from CarbonFiberGear.com... prices were pretty good.. ANother member just did his interior with Dinoc over the wood.. turned out great...

nothing wrong with the dinoc IMO... looks good to..

OP. Have you seen & touched 3M DI-NOC ? There is no need to clear coat it. It is not your typical vinyl as it has the texture & feel of genuine c/f. I have 2 genuine c/f plate frames for sale if anyone is interested.

Actually the non-clearcoat vinyl in this pic looks worse than in real-life IMO. It's very difficult to clearcoat larger surfaces of Di-Noc. From what I've seen it isn't easy to get an even result over the whole surface.

I found it on eBay (Germany). Brand is Kuda. Mine is wrapped in real leather. It just clips on the console (no need to drill or such).

If you get it installed on your door trim, the door panels will have to be removed in order to remove the "wood trim" on the doors. The trim is held by 4 bolts so don't pull or tug it off. After closer inspection of the trim on my doors, it appears to be abs plastic that looks to be painted in a wood pattern You will see for yourself..

Here are pics of my interior.
