Should be 245/40R18. The 45 series may rub while turning and definitely if lowered.

Yes it will fit, I am running 245/45/18 up front and 265/40/18 in the rear . 8.5" width in the front and 9.5" in the rear rims. I am not lowered either.

Man with 9.5 in the back you should be running 295s...I have the 2011 IS350 rims on my GS and running 275 on the back with 8.5.....trust me it makes a difference in looks

Sorry, but that's bad advice. Maximum tire width on a 8.5 wheel should be 255, maximum tire width on a 9.5 should be no larger than 285.

OP, 245/45-18 should fit fine on a wheel width from 7.5-9 but with the height of that tire you WILL loose some handling opposed to a tire size like 245/40-18.

18's on a GS means that you must lower your car (or you will hate yourself) therefore go with the smaller size...

Yeah I am going to go with 275/40/18 when the rear tires go out , I brought the 265's because it was a package deal with the rim/tire combination.

AFC1: I don't hate myself because I have 245/45/18's on my fronts , I still have the Lexus ride with a sporty look, I don't see how that could be a bad thing?

I still can lower my car and inch and it will still look classy and ride smooth.
