Default X-Horse MVCI

So I never really got anywhere with this, Ordered the X-Horse Mini VCI adapter and hacked techstream off of ebay a few months back. Never was able to get the drivers installed and just kind of let it die. Well here I am and still haven't been able to get it to work. Does anyone have any insight here? A newer version of the driver that works with Win7 perhaps? A workaround? Mostly just wanting to do my own CBEST settings, is it possible with a generic OBDII driver and the Techstream software? The Techstream software I got installs fine its just the MVCI Driver that doesn't. Any help here is greatly appreciated guys!

I am not satisfied with this product either... You will find out not everything work and if it works, it's very slow to respond. Worse product ever. The only good side is, C-BEST setting configuration. The product came with 2 CDs and an instruction manual. Follow EXACTLY what the instruction manual says and installation will not be a problem. Later on you will find out only the Customize Setting and the OBD II options work only, and the other like ABS and ETC will not work if you dont have the right version.

yah it was a waste of money, I even managed to find version 5.00.028 online and it still doesn't work with VSC/ABS which is the whole reason I bought it

I bought it was because you can take advantage of the C-best settings and read ABS codes. The product works very slow. After updating to the lastest, still have problem communicating with the ABS system. Only C-best settings works and the Live Data OBD II works but very slow. It wasn't worth $100+.
The product really sucks horse *****.

Can one of you guys PM me and send me a link or the file directly for v5.00.028 that way maybe I can at least update my CBEST settings? Do either of you have Win7? I think that's the problem I'm having with the driver that came with it, it doesn't seem to want to work with Win7

I think for what you get for $100 the products is pretty damn awesome. It being slow is more likely Toyotas fault, its techstream software is generally slow even with proprietary Toyota interface, from what I hear. Considering that a simple tester costs ~$50 that does nothing but pull CEL codes, for $100 this product is well worth it.

The C-Best setting will work with the older version. Installing version 5.0 is not gonna help. I installed the 5.0 and the C-Best setting didnt work!!

My problem is the original driver that came with it won't install on my Win7 machine so I'm hoping the updated drivers would help with that part. At this point I'm just trying to get the drivers installed so I can mess with it at least. So please anyone with the updated ones shoot me a message.
