Default HID question....need help!

One of the factory bulbs on my 03 gs300 SD blew yesterday. I want to upgrade to a 6000k bulb. I see alot of bulbs on ebay ranging from $20 up to $200. I believe that $200 is way to much and $20 seems too good to be true. @ $20 they are probably going to blow in 6 months or less and the $200 ones you really won't know if they are going to last anyway. I could always just get dealer lights cause i know they are going to last quite some time, but i want something a little brighter. You are obviously going to get what you pay for so my question is has anyone purchased some 6000k bulbs that is a good deal and last for a good amount of time?

ddmtuning bulbs, without a doubt. $15 for a pair and they're lifetime (say if it discolors or burns out). i've had them for my low beams/fogs on my '03 tl (it uses d2r as well) for over a year and they were still running strong.

i'm running 5000k d2r bulbs (low/fogs) for my '03 gs sd and everything has been fine so far!

you sure the bulb has lifetime warranty? If i recall they said that the bulbs do not due to the fact that you might not be running their ballast.

Straight from there site

"Bulbs sold come with the industry standard Amphenol type connectors*. Since we have no way of knowing which ballasts these bulbs may be attached to, we can only offer a 1 year warranty on separate bulb sales. Even so, these are the SAME bulbs contained in our Lifetime Warrantied DDM Kits. "

I believe lifetime warranty is given to the whole kit.

Im running their bulbs on my Gs400 lights. works fine.

These are the ones I have:

I've had them for less than a month and they work great. What I don't get though, is it's $15 for a pair. That's less than two halogen bulbs at your local auto parts store. If you're worried about it burning out, buy two sets. It's only $30 for two sets of lights. Were you seriously going to go through the trouble of sending in a burnt out bulb?
