Weird electrical problem
Ok guys so my 2000 Gs4 is starting to fall apart but I have a really weird electrical issue that I could really use some insight on.
All these issues happened at the same time. I noticed my steering wheel didn't go into the home position when I shut my car off. I also noticed the power mirrors and memory buttons weren't working. Then I noticed my window switches and locks weren't working but each window works with its individual door switch.
If I put the key in the run position, then set it to lock I can control all the windows and locks from the drivers master switch. If the key is put in the run or I start the car none of them work.... Unless I push the drivers door at the same time as another window. But with the car running the locks don't work.
The memory buttons and power mirrors no longer work no matter what I do.
Sorry for any confusion but does this sound like the MPX unit (door computer) in the door is bad? I've already checked every fuse in the car and don't believe it's the master switch because it works under certain circumstances.
Thanks in advance
