To those of you with VIP Side Tables/VipdOut front tables..
I know that James sent metal hooks and screws to use to mount the table with, but has anyone tried double sided tape to see how it holds up and how it holds the table? And anyone able to shoot me pics of how exactly it's mounted with all the screws etc? I have an idea, but don't want to screw anything up.
Thanks,
-Daniel

Well there are screws and metal mounting brackets, so I assume they are drilled into the dash above the glove box, but from a bit more searching it seems like there are screws already in the glove box and you just remove those, add the brackets, and then screw the screws into the underside of the table, so tomorrow morning I will go out to the GS and see if that's what I find. I'll update the thread with more info once I get that done, otherwise any other info will be great.

why not just drop James (vipdout) a line about this? very helpful dude. he will explain exactly how to install and has tons of pics of installs on customer cars... the kit also should've came with an install instruction sheet.

I texted him yesterday afternoon about installation and he said he would give me a walk through, but never texted me back. He is very very helpful, but also a very busy guy, so I don't want to keep nagging him about it. I tore the box apart and didn't find a installation sheet though.

Patience my friend. I just got home from class, but will go out in a second and take pics of the mounting.
As far as seeing tables in general, we have a thread for that.

Here are pics of how the table is mounted..
There are 3 screws that are already inside the glove box, all you do is take out the old screws, put in your brackets that are supplied by James (if you bought a VipdOut table) and screw them in with the new screws James also supplied. After that you set your table how you want and make sure it clears the door when being closed, then you drill the smaller screws (also supplied by James) into the underside of the table through the holes on the flat side of the brackets. As seen in the pictures..
The glove box is still 100% available for you to use. Just have to slam it to shut it a bit.
