Good job Camren! I like it!

One question, what happens when it rains and you open your trunk?

 then it looks like everything is getting drenched... Or just put things in your back seat when it's raining...

Hey Cam...

Its a great idea for shows! If all it takes is 20 minutes to switch over, its worth getting to the show that much earlier.

Expect to see it the next time you see my car at a show!!

Great Job!!

yeah, the suicide trunk isn't the best idea but i bet you learned something along the way. at least it was cool just to try and snap some pics, just for the hell of it. nice job, and really good of you to put it back to stock eventually

Kinda ricer, but interesting (ricer because it makes it LESS functional)...now if you can only figure out a way to make the trunk open like normal but w/o the huge "arms", that would be interesting!

????Suicide doors, tilt hoods, chop tops, etc... have been part of American automotive customization for 60 years or more. Functionality is NOT the number one priority for a show (or even a everyday "show-off") environment.

now suicide DOORS on a GS....that would be different. Cam, you obviously didn't have legos or an erector set when you were little!! J/K man......cool idea.

I just love watching people disassemble their $40-$50K vehicles on this site!!!! More ***** than me, that's for sure!!

AMERICAN automotive customization...on AMERICAN cars....not on Japanese cars. Just like American car guys have that kind of customization and muscle cars, we have JDM/VIP...

It's much like that guy with the phantom top SC that did he car "cholo" style like it was a '64 Impala...that's just not right in my book. There are cars that look good with certain mods. That SC is not one of them.

I mean just because these guys do fleck metallic paint with some Aztec airbrushed painting on their hood along with 100 spoke Daytons, does that make it OK to do it on a Lexus? Seriously, think about it.

Of course, everyone's taste is not the same, but let's face it, there are some things that are CLEARLY of bad taste (not saying Camren's lift-trunk is that bad...just pointless IMO...)

Now Carbon Fiber doors for the SC would be a worthy mod. These friggin' doors weigh a ton!

already has...

i like trying new things...

thought i might light up some ideas by posting this up...

manaray thinks its pointless..... haha ... was there suppose to be a point to it?? i don think so... i just did it to see how it looks.. and make it different then most GS's... IT wasnt suppose to serve a purpose... other then to make the trunk look very different then how normal trunks looks.. good for show purposes.

Now all you need to do is work some shocks into the truck and get a remote truck release.
