so last night i changed all my wood trim for carbon pieces which means i took off all my door panals and now my keyless wont work? wtf? everything else works properly (ie door locks, windows) but now nothing happens when i press the door locks/unlock or trunk doesnt open either. althought the red light comes on in the remote itself? any ideas guys?

 

did u unplug the door ecu's by chance? the remote ecu is in the right rear c-pillar so you shouldnt have touched that, right?

 

all i did was remove the door panels? i just disconected the battery for a min and still no dice? battery in remote is good too? wtf

 

Mine has done the same thing since I replaced my actuator....would love to know the cause my self

 

this is bugging the hell outa me. anyone have any ideas at least?

 

Hey man quick question, if you stick the key in the driver's door key hole lock/unlock do all the other doors operate ?

 

no just driver, but i think you have to turn it 2x for it to open all doors? right

i know it seems weird but go back and double check all connections are complete....IF u have a local member and he's cool with it you could "borrow" his door ecu's or his remote ecu and eliminate those as the cause

 

Theres only one way to tell, go BACK and check everything you disconnected and make sure its connected properly.

so the wierdness continues....today i put the remote about 2" from the door and hit lock and it worked for about 3 hours and then nothing again? i checked the remote battery at autozone and it shows it working after it stopped working again today? w.t.f.
