All in all you can't just add a used door and expect it to be perfect or the customer to be happy. Also warranty is always a huge issue on used parts that the body shop must in cure.
ugh, im not taking away from the trade... simply saying that used parts are an easy way to cut down costs. I know that time to prep/paint is there... All i was getting at, is that you can shave off a good amount of costs when used parts are sourced. The labor total is still there, but the parts costs are lower and you keep the gains that insurance already paid out for.

Warranty wise? Its the work you need to warranty. Parts are parts. If company a makes bad fenders that tend to rust out due to water sitting that isn't the body shops fault - but it falls on them. Which is why used parts are the only way to go for doors/quarters and such [fender are whatever], they will sit better than some aftermarket junk panels, and will be, well OEM made. Not made to oem spec, the tiniest variance in metal quality used yeilds an already ****tier finish.
