The top light is dual filament, but not connected. It only light up when you turn on your parking light,
Simple mod, 2 diodes/light, you can connect the top light second filament into your existing brake light signal.
This way, if you step on the brake, all light will come on.
I'll post a picture if I can get someone to step on the brake in my car hee hee
