It was a gamble, but put them to work.

Glad they fit!

Although I think a gloss black cap with no decal might also look good.

What type does the Lexus 2GS use below? Also when these BMW wheels get redrilled with steel inserts, what type of lug nuts are required then?

Just picked up these wheels on ebay for $157 with peeling chrome...

Have not decided whether I want to rechrome, polish, or paint just yet.

Default E65 / E66 Centercaps

Hi guys, I have a set of 02-08 E65/E66 Style-95 centercaps shown below:

I am considering polishing or chrome plating my wheels and would like to modify these centercaps so they match. I'm wondering if these centercaps can be taken apart? In other words, is this a two piece cap and if so does anyone have any recommendations of how to take them apart.

I'm not quite sure yet exactly what I will do, whether take them apart and paint them or polish them, but looking for ideas.

Essentially I don't want the BMW symbol on the face of the caps but rather a polished, chrome, or all gloss black look... something along those lines.

Thank you!

That's awesome! Thank you very much for sharing! These are OEM caps right?

What metal is that? I wonder if the backside can be polished?
