Hey everybody. I like to give my 400 a little more volume on the exhaust. I have been listening to a ton of clips on you tube with the resonators deleted. It sounds great but it pretty loud. I look under the car and saw how long the stock ones are. I was thinking If I replaced them with smaller ones (look at ebay link) would I get a nice in between stock and full removed?

I actually meant to make a thread about that. But I have removed that small resonator and I thought it wouldn't change anything. But it definitely added a nice tone to the exhaust. I think everyone who is thinking to have a slightly deeper and sportier sound, but not something too loud, they should try that. I definitely love how it sounded when i got it done.

The OEM rear mufflers are packed with hi-temp fiberglass plus they are HUGE so that's why your exhaust is so quiet.
I replaced my rears with Magnaflows and some bigger Magnaflow chrome tips that fill the bumper cutouts much better. The sound is excellent - mellow on easy throttle but I can really hear them when I'm on the gas.

i removed all there n added RMM mufflers.
its silent cruising on the freeway n nice n throaty when gassing. its quite raspy when the exhaust is cold but sounds better as you drive n warm em up.
