Default Rear Window Moisture

Since the weather is changing I have been noticing a lot of condensation on my rear window. For instance, it will be mid to high 70's during the daytime and drop to low 60's or high 50's and I notice a good amount of condensation on the rear window (inside). My first thought would have been a drain tube and moisture getting in, but I don't have the problem when it rains.

I searched and only found a few threads, but the all refer to the AC. I rarely run my AC unless it is really hot and humid. I took a couple photos from today. I drove the car approximately 7 miles total and windows were down the whole time.

Right now I am open to any ideas or suggestions.

try using this product http://www.damprid.com/product/sache...-absorber-fg40
i place one in the boot and got rid of most of Moisture it seem to crip in and stay there the boot felt dry no wet spot but Moisture can crip into the back an just collect it self by the rug over time and on those hot day..well you know the what happen then i hope this help cheers

I was thinking about doing something like, maybe desiccant packs until I pull the rear seat and side panels out to check and make sure there is no leaks in the drain tubes.

is the rear deck ACTUALLY wet OP or just condensation on the window?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I have checked the rear deck itself for moisture and I could not feel any at all on the deck. I did realize the other day though, that there is a small air leak in the sunroof gasket when it is closed. I'm wondering if that is contributing at all.

is their certain conditions this happens only in? i mean is this nothing more than condensation on the back window?

might have a buddy take a garden hose and just soak the read windshield,top to see if you have a leak....also it cant hurt to blow the drain lines out. lastly check the outside strip to see if its cracked/dry rotted or something where water might be getting in.... my final thought is if its just condensation shouldn't the rear defrost get it up?

The only time that there is moisture or condensation is when there is a dramatic temperature change in the day. For instance, during the day it will be high 70's and then drop to the mid 50's or lower. The only other time besides that is when the hurricane came through and it was hot out and then the all cold rain. I have sat there while hosing the car down to see if I notice anything leaking and have not seen anything. I'm just going to keep an eye on it and double check all the seals (doors, sunroof, etc.) and probably put a desiccant pack in there just to help.
