Default g35 18" on a 2002 GS430... answer?

Hey, so I've read the multple threads on fitment issues and opinions.

Is there anyone on here how has FACTUAL knowledge of putting on the G35 18" rims with out any other suspension mods or wheel spacesrs?

It looks like some say you don't need the hub centric rings and others say you do. However, I am not planning to do any suspension mods and I'm curious if I should just stick with a Lexus oem 18".

Anyone out there with zero suspension mods that have done this conversion? Thanks guys. I have a 2002 Gs430 with 45k miles on her. She is perfectly smooth right now with zero shake or vibration on her 17" chrome oem five stars.... Just trying to get a little bigger wheel look and love the 06 G35 18" look on this car. Thanks!

I have suspension mods on my car and it actually drives pretty good. But my only question is why are you cheapping out? The hub rings cost 10 bucks. I bought mine before I bought the wheels. Why not just go on ebay and order them now. By the time you find the wheels the rings will be in. I can bet that it will drive better with them then without them. again homie its only 10 bucks

^ what he said.. just make sure the sizes are right. also, I think the g coupe 18s will fit very well, no spacers needed on a sedan

Looks like you got your answer already. but ya they fit no problem without spacers. Also you should use hub rings, for those who don't are either cheaping out or ignorant. Also you will need acorn seat lug nuts. you cannot use your OEM hardware. and if you want to use spacers make sure they are hub-centric for toyota and anything wider than 5mm will need extended studs pressed in the hubs. And spacers 15mm or wider will most likely have studs pressed in them already. But just make sure they are hub-centric

Another option too is to have custom spacer made (15-25mm) where the inner hub bore is 60.06 and the outer hub is 66.06 with the studs (M12x1.5) pressed in and this would make the wheels nice and flush and will be hub-centric to the car and to the wheel

This shop can make any width any hub bore and quality is very good and the alloy they use it much better than the cheap China crap on ebay
http://www.wheelspacers.ca/

Make sure the spacers you buy is thicker than 25mm. This way your OEM studs wont stick out past the spacer like so.

If you get a spacer which is less than 25mm your original studs will pass the spacer meaning the wheel you have must have pockets between the bolt holes so it does not interfere while mounting on to the vehicle

Notice how this wheels has large gaps between the bolt holes

DO NOT buy cheap $#!T spacers like so. Notice they is no hub sticking out, thus giving all the pressure on the studs.
Usually cheap spacers like this easily get stripped when over tightening or studs breaking which can be very hazardous.
Please keep in mind you get what you pay for and I don't cheap out on the part that is actually holding the wheels to your car.

If you only get a 10mm spacer (LEFT) your spacer will most likely look like this, in which you will need to press out your original studs and press in longer extended studs which can get costly.
Spacers that are less than 10mm thick (Right) will not have a hub sticking as the factory hub is longer than 5mm and do not require extended studs.
