Default 19" vs 20"

after many hours of searching and never really finding a real answer.

so on 2 GS why did you go with 19" wheels or 20" versus the other? I maybe have some guesses but looking for some input as to why people picked one over the other. thanks

This has been discussed in detail over the years. One big difference is tires in the 20" size are more available compared to 19" sizes and in some cases cheaper!

Good luck!

I went with 20's because the wheels I wanted (MRR HR3) weren't available in 19's.

19's if that's what you like and if not, 20's if that's what you like. Just kidding. Personally, I have a set of 19's on my car and to me, it looks perfect. I also have a set of 20's also. IMO, they look a little too big. Just my opinion.

I have 19's now and IMO they still look a little small at times even with a larger sidewall of the tire.. So i opted for 20's in the new Vossens that will be on the car next week... I don't think 20's are to big at all.. Remember the GS is one of the larger sedans out there so 20's fit just fine.

Some members in the past (bluelex) pulled off 21's that looked amazing.. 22's are just to big IMO but people have done it.

19's are the happy medium but 20's fit the profile perfectly.

19"s just sit better on the gs. I've had both 19 and 20"s. agreed if u dont want to be dumped and have a body kit 20"s will give u more clearance but imo depends on the suspension setup your going to run.

Haha, Seriously, I think 20"s look perfect on the GS. 19"s are a tad bit small.

I think 20's will be my first mod I do, followed very quickly by some coilovers.

Stock on the 17" chrome lexus mags right now, with the winter tires.
